Abdominal Muscle Separation – Can I fix it?

Abdominal Muscle Separation – Can I fix it: Kath Baquie from FitNest Mama

In today’s episode is a question I get asked a lot. Abdominal muscle separation – can I fix it? This is a common issue for new mums post baby but with the right knowledge it’s one anyone can deal with.

I’m going to explain what exactly an abdominal muscles separation is (otherwise known as DRAM, diastasis recti, and tummy muscle split, to name a few). I will also explain how you can help yourself recover, and the different ways you can help your body during pregnancy and after having a baby. I also discuss when you might need to seek help.

We dive into into common misconceptions about abdominal muscle separation, and the harm they can cause.

If you want to find out more about diastasis recti abdominis, or abdominal muscle separation, including how to manage it, and if ‘I can fix it’, then this episode is for you. We discuss controllable factors, and non-controllable factors – things that are just commonly part of pregnancy and birth, including ways which you can help to manage, and treat this common condition.
